Meet Maddy
Madeline Hernandez Master Florist
Maddy is a multifaceted creative with a passion for people, art, and culture. Born and raised in Boston, she burned out on the grind of city life and, in 2016, swapped the noise for the quiet of Arizona and the Sonoran Desert.
Coming from generations of women farmers and gardeners Maddy has a natural ability to work with flowers. Her work is distinctive and poetic, using color theory and instinct she creates designs that don’t just stand out—they demand attention.
A certified Master Florist through the Arizona State Floral Association and the proud recipient of the Sharon Luoma Scholarship, Maddy’s work is anything but average. She specializes in pushing boundaries and elevating the everyday into something unforgettable.
Some other things Maddy enjoys besides flowers; her two sons, her husband David, Yoga, Rock Climbing, Cycling & Hiking.
With more than a decade of experience as a social worker, Maddy has a rare mix of compassion and grit. Florecita is her way of telling stories—yours, in living color, through the language of flowers.
